Get those Pap smears done each year, and your yearly exam. They say that you should start these each year after you’ve reached the age of 30. Most women will avoid these exams often but you should really use this as a way of noticing if you have problems.
Colonoscopy is another step that should be used to look for cancer. Though it’s not in the cancer that they are looking for in the breast here. Keeping your body free from cancer can avoid it spreading to other areas of the body.
The most important tips for cancer and keeping it out of your life is to continually get those checkups. Not only do the self examination and check for lumps on your own body. But ask your husband to help you out. They may be more aware than you are of where the lumps come up.
Get the mammogram when it is required and if you find a lump don’t hesitate to head into the doctor. It’s better to check it out and be safe than leave it be and find out you could have stopped it.
