Following are some of the symptoms of a deep venous thrombosis:

pain, usually in the calf or thigh

a so-called rope or cord that can be felt in the vein along the course of the blood clot

swelling, usually in one leg

warm, reddened skin, usually in the calf or thigh, that is tender to the touch
