using synthetic thyroid hormone medicines to treat hypothyroidism
What are the long-term effects of the disease?
Recurrent episodes of Menir's disease can lead to gradual loss of
hearing and balance.
What are the risks to others?
Menir's disease is not contagious and poses no risk to others.
